Broken down below, rising this year inside a going sideways 1.489520059170472-year channel
Price has closed below the channel. Support has failed β treat the buy target with caution.
The next few months are read from the last 12 months, not the last 18 months: that channel fits this stock's recent turns at least as well (77% against 62%) and it is the one price is respecting now. The last 18 months stay as context: going sideways, β2% a year. The nearest ceiling overhead is US$383.83, from the last 18 months. What would overturn this: a close below US$325.39 β the floor of the channel being read β after which the trend, not the entry, is what was wrong.

The trend broke in October 2024: price fell 38% from 471.67 to 293.54 by November 2025, and has regained 12% of that fall since. Its peers did not fall with it, so this was about the company rather than its sector. The wire that week: βBaird Maintains Outperform on Carlisle Companies, Raises Price Target to $506β. Falls like it have resolved: falls of about 38% here have come back to the old high 80% of the time (1001 comparable falls), typically in 83 days.
